Poached chicken breasts, how long does it take to cook?

Plus does it taste nice (with sausage meat stuffing and herbs). Have a nice creamy mushroom and garlic sauce too.

Thinking about this for tea!

We steam chicken breasts, but it's not dissimilar. You need to be sure that you don't over cook them though and they need additional flavourings otherwise they'll be bland.

When we steam them, it takes about 7-10 minutes, tops. Poaching would be about the same - you want the pink gone, but only just. Might take a little longer if you stuff them, but I'm not sure if the stuffing would cook well if being poached?

Ok thanks, decided in the end to pop them in the oven, so just wrapped them individually in silver foil. Just about to serve them.

Didn't realise that they only took about 10 mins, I would have cooked them for much longer!!!
