Grinding spices

If I grind some spices in OH's coffee grinder will it clean out easily or will he get a gulp of chilli coffee next time I make him proper coffee? Mind you, as he's being a bit grumpy at the moment I could have a bit of "accidental revenge"...

well, I'm sure if you leave it to soak for a while it'd be fine, or if he's really grumpy, a quick rinse would do.

I use our coffee grinder for spices. Not noticed chilli in the coffee yet!
I tend to stick to dried spices though.
