Hi - I've got an easter / birthday party Saturday for 3yr old + 10 friends has anyone got any ideas for a samsosa type - veggie patty I'd really like something a bit different as well as sarnies and pizza - any help greatly appreciated - thanks

are they for children or adults to eat?

I have a recipe for Feta & pea samosas which you make with filo pastry and bake in the oven. They're really easy and not too spicy (there's a bit of chilli in them but my 5 & 6 y.o DC eat them without any complaint)

Would love your recipe, misshardbroom!

try using a standard mildly spiced pea, potato and onion samosa filling in ready made vol au vents - you can get frozen cocktail ones which are quick to cook, then a tsp of filling and you've a small bite for a small mouth.

You really don't want to be making samosa pastry, folding into triangles and filling then deep frying unless it's the main element of your party food - it's far too time consuming. HTH

you can buy the samosa pastry dont have to make it, it should be in the freezer of halal meat shop if they have a freezer, or in an asian groceries shop, then just put the filling fold and fry
