Is it possible to make brioche if one does not own a profession style mixer? I've always been intimidated to try as all the recipes call for one, and the closest thing i have is a hand-held mixer with a dough hook. I'm really craving to make a gateau a la creme after watching Raymond Blanc make one (yeah, I know - he makes everything look easy!) and was wondering if anyone had any experience making brioche without a mixer.
