salad ideas?

for me, dh, and 3 one year olds.

tried some hollmans salady sauces with chicken,

they don't like ham, i don't like sweetcorn.

Tomato, mozzarella, avocado and mixed leaves with a bit of olive oil, some fresh basil and black pepper.

want it to be a main meal and i don't think that would be filling enough - they still don't see salad as a proper food!

Fry some chopped bacon or pancetta, add some sliced avocado and baby spinach to pan, you can also add hard boiled eggs if you want. Stir into the juices, you can add oil and vinegar (balsamic or cider) if you choose, and serve with nice bread to mop up. Yum.

Have it with baguette and cold chicken and it's a meal

add grapes, bits of apple and peaches.
