That's it really. Are they worth buying or will it sit in my cupboard taking up room?If you have one.what do you cook in it?

Thankyou.

Ours sits in the cupboard. As far as I could tell, tagines are just spicy casseroles so I just use a casserole dish.

i thought the tagine ws what you ate, not what you cooked it in?

i must be common

Oh, it'll just take up room in the cupboard...there is a shop in Warwick that sells nothing but tagines and I often wonder how on earth they keep in business

I use mine as a fruit bowl. It's been used to cook once.

NO not worth it. big saucepan is fine. i think unless you're actually moroccan you're very unlikely to make something authentic anyway so the difference the cooking pot will make is minimal! they really eat your cupboard space as well

You have confirmed my suspicions.I will use my casserole instead and avert my eyes from tagine temptation when I go into Lakeland.Thankyou.
