Icing for brownies

I'm going to make some brownies tomorrow and, as its Easter, I thought I might ice them and stick some mini eggs on the top.

Will chocolate butter cream be OK, or do I need something else?

Sounds great! Or just melt chocolate and add a little bit of melted butter to make a glossy glazed topping.

Thanks.

Might just go with your idea.

Sounds yum

The Hummingbird Bakery cookbook has a frosted brownie recipe as follows for the frosting:

200g icing sugar sifted
75g unsalted butter at room temp
30g sifted cocoa powder
150g cold cream cheese

mix first 3 ingreds together using food mixer or electric whisk
add cream cheese in one go and beat until completely incorporated. beat for a further 5 mins to make really fluffy. don't overbeat as it becomes runny.

spread over brownies once they are completely cold.

Mmm, sounds nice. Thanks.

I'll probably buy the ingredients for both and see how much time I have.
