Chocolate & shredded wheat nests - quantities?!?!?

I'm running an Easter fun day on Thursday morning and I want to make those chocolate nests with shredded wheat. I need to buy the ingredients tomorrow. There could be 40-50 children there, so I'm looking at at least that many cakes.

Has ANYONE got an actual recipe for these that has some indication of quantities?! I have found no end of recipes that say "just mix some chocolate and shredded wheat", but I could do with some sort of basic ratio that I can multiply up!

Needs to be just chocolate and shredded wheat - no golden syrup etc please - the logistics are too complicated.

Nigella's Easter Nests:

Makes 5 big ones

200g milk choc
25g dark choc
25g unsalted butter
100g shredded wheat
Mini eggs to go in nests

We made some with 8 shredded wheat, 400g (I think) of chocolate, 2 spoons of syrup and 50g of butter. I know you said no syrup but I guess you could leave this out, though it did taste nice with them in and its not so hard to add to the melted choc really.

They were made in muffin cases and we made maybe 20 ish? You would need to at least double up I would think.

I made the simple ones with my Rainbows last night.

We used 8 shredded wheat and 3 200g packs of dairy milk. It made 20 cakes.

Thanks so much. We actually had about 70 children turn up - not the 40-50 I'd expected, so it's been a mad morning but I survived. Bought about the right amount in the end, with some extra just in case, and have brought a box of cereal home much to DD1's disgust!
