slow cooker in the oven??

I have made a lamb dish in my (new) slow cooker - you know, the ceramic black oval pot with glass lid goes in the tin bit which you plug in...

my question is, can I put the ceramic bit straight into the oven to re-heat it today or could that damage it...should I scrape out the lamb and juices and re-heat them in a normal heat-proof oven dish??

(bloody useless person)

I used the pot from mine and the knob on the lid melted the pot was fine though.

You could use the pot and just put some foil on the top, sorry posted that a bit quickly DS was shouting me.

notsochickchickchicken - so did I, the first time I used it!

It's still functional though.
