Roast lamb question. Pretty please.

DD's boyfriend is suddenly coming over for dinner.
If I had roast beef, I would stretch it with Yorkshire pudding. If pork or chicken, then I would go for stuffing.
What can I do to bulk out roast lamb?

I would still do Yourkshire puddings, do you do onion sauce?

It's an idea. I've never seen anyone refuse yorks puds. I was going to do a gravy with the marinating juices: redcurrant, red wine, cinnamon, juniper, rosemary.

Gravy sounds great, onion suace is just a hiwt sauce but you cook the onions in the butter before adding the flour etc, we have just had chicken with yorkshires, the DC's love them.

Ah ha! Lightbulb moment. I can do stuffed mushrooms.

Thanks 5GMID

Sounds good, enjoy your meal.

With the lamb I'd add a few tins of white beans - any would do - butter beans/cannelini beans etc to the juices about 15 mins before the end of cooking.
