I've got an Asda's Chicken and chorizo paella. I have just taken it out of the frezzer and it says DO NOT FREZZE on it.

I can't see that there would be anything in it unsuitable for frezzing.
Would there???

It may have been previously frozen by Asda or the producers maybe. Hence no re freeze.

cadbury · 22/07/2005 15:50

maybe it says that because of the rice.

I mean before you bought it BTW, before it went int he shop. I know some of their fish is like that.

sweetkitty · 22/07/2005 15:51

as hula said maybe it's because some of teh ingredients have already been frozen, these type of warnings tend to because the quality will be affected by freezing so it will taste rubbish not because of any safety issues, if it were me I would bin it and send out for a Chinese (can you tell what I'm having for dinner?)

It was fresh when I bought it.

I did the same the other day with a chicken and ham carbonara and it seemed ok.

I still panicked whilst eating it though. lol!
