Chicken legs...

No I am a veggie, so please be gentle with me.

Why is it when I roast legs in the oven, they have coagulated dried out blood hanging out of the end. Why don't they look like the ready-to-eat ones I see in the shops?

coz the legs you are buying have been chopped off the chicken with a cleaver, the bone is cut, and bone marrow and blood ooze out while cooking.

They need to be roasted on the chicken to look nice.
