RTKangaMummy · 22/07/2005 11:36

yes I did watch it

it said that if you live additive free your diet was lots better beacuse you cooked from sctratch and didn't have bulk rubbish padding everything out

and showed how influenced we were by colour

was very interesting actually

Thanks for the link, RTKM. I missed the programme but hope step-dad has videoed it as requested. We are largely additive free for DS1's sake. In the last week I've allowed him various cakes and sweets at school events/parties, since to say no every day feels so bad - he has runny nose and cough, grumpy, can't get to sleep at night. I know there's a reason I persevere! Must go and turn off veg soup now...

I lived without processed food for around 10 years when I had loads of allergies. I am sad to confirm that it is still possible to eat unhealthily, and be overweight!

They did say that it was alot more time consiming cooking and reading labels etc.

I thought the colour tests were interesting

He drank drinks like yellow he thought would be lemon but was actually apple IIRC

And strawberry jam with out the red in and was actually sort of yellow

one woman said JAM is RED marmalade is yellow
