What salads would you serve with a warm gammon

Doing gammon, cumberland sauce, baked potatoes - what salads would you do with it. I've got to cater for 18 people. I'm not a salad person so please help. Anything that can done in advance would be good but I don't have an enormous fridge.

Something coleslaw-ey but put red cabbage, carrot, onion, raisins and apple in as these go well with pork dishes

A green salad

Run out of ideas now

Waldorf salad? (Was thinking about it on nursery pick up run )

celeriac remoulade-
shredded celeriac mixed with a mustardy mayonnaise, yum.

I second a coleslaw. Also a green salad (lettuce; possibly with cucumber and green peppers) and cherry tomatoes.

maybe a nice rice salad, as you are serving a cumberland sauce...? with red onion, cherry toms, feta cheese, peppers and mushroom and some good seasoning?

Curried rice salad, waldorf salad and my own special shredded lettuce, melon and peach, no dressing required the melon and peach juice is enough.

Am thinking celeriac remoulade. Somebody is bringing a coleslaw but with no mayonnaise and I think some people might miss the mayonnaise.

A broad bean salad

I agree with Whoamireally, a waldorf salad's sweetness should go great with the gammon and really bring out the flavours, as it's often served with sweet aids like spiced peaches. Hope this helps. Amy x
