Can't get my DS to drink

My 3 year old son has always been very difficult to persuade to drink. Sometimes at the end of the day I realise that he has drank hardly anything at all. He is really good at eating and eats plenty of fruit and veg every day. On an average day he will have a cup of milk with breakfast and milk on his cereal. Then maybe half a cup of juice mid morning if I follow him around with a cup - not so easy now I have a new baby too. Then a few sips of water wih lunch and a carton of juice mid afternoon. A few sips of water with tea and then a cup of milk at bedtime.

I worry that he will do long term damage to his body by not drinking enough. Anyone have this problem. I try different cups, different drinks etc but no improvement.

that sounds ok to me tbh! is he showing any signs of not getting enough to drink? dark urine etc?

No urine looks ok but doesn't go that often. My baby book suggests drinking 1.3 lts a day, which sounds alot to me. I don't know whether I am worrying unnecessairly but he isn't drinking anywhere near 1.3 ltrs.
