Slow cooker recipe

So my mother has been lovely enough to buy me a slow cooker. I want to try it out this evening. It is only me tonight so need a recipe for one. Ideally the recipe would be either with turkey fillets or sausages plus veg and stuff.

Has anyone got any ideas?

There are lots of nice slow cooker books around. I tend to just stick a load of veg in the bottom, stock, and meat and leave it!

I've never tried a breakfast in mine, but that would probably a better bet for you if you are starting now!

I used my slow cooker. I ate at about 8. There are lots of recipes out there that are only for about 4 hours. I ended up making up my own though and it tasted delicious!
