Can I give nectarine with the skin on to an 8 month old as finger food?
What can i do with kiwi other than mash it?

Just peel the kiwi and offer in little segments.

I would peel the nectarine too.

Wouldn't give kiwi - it's very allergenic. Nectarine should be OK though.

jess eats both but she is nearly 1 - first taste of kiwi was at 10 months and loved it

Agree with HM, although I skinned mine as the empty husks just ended up all over the floor. Holding them up to the light helps detect seeds in fruit labelled 'seedless', but I guess you thought of that one!

Gave him a small amount of kiwi and nectarine mashed, was ok with both. Haven't tried nectarine as finger food with skin on yet as I'm not sure if he's old enough.
