Is this pork safe to heat?

Hi my dp said her would cook roast leg of pork today.

First he didn't stick it in the oven till 3pm - it took 4 hours to cook. secondly he stuck the oven on at 200 so it got burnt very quickly then after an hour he turned it down to 180.

The pork looked fine apart from a dark spot/chunk close to the bone that goes from start to finish. Should I worry that this will be bad for us or can I eat it?

Men, can't trust them with ovens. I think it'll be fine to eat, just a bit burnt perhaps!
