Power cut tomorrow am so need to put slow cooker on over-night. I have browned the meat and got it all ready in the pot to be put on in a couple of hours. Just wondered if the meat is alright half-cooked left like that for a few hours?

it should go in the fridge until you start cooking it, i would have thought...

What sort of meat?

It's beef. I have turned it on now as off to bed. Should I leave it on medium or low? It's 11pm where I am so it will be on for 8 hours approx until the power goes off.

Ah, now I'd leave it on low but I'm guessing 1pm where you are now so not much use to you!
