How I can I pre-make fish pie? Any other good 'ready meals'?

I really want to make some meals as DH has 4 days off. Cottage pie is easy enough but I do not know how 'far' I make a fish pie. It'll be eaten within a few days so I guess it doesn't have to be frozen, but I have no idea how to make food into 'ready meals'. Thanks in advance, it'll be a MASSIVE help

If it's going to be eaten within a day or two I would just make it up to the point of cooking (fish, white sauce and spud are all precooked so should keep ok) and chill; any more than that and I would freeze. If you do freeze, do not put hard boiled eggs in, they go really unpleasant after freezing for some reason.

Other dishes where the ingredients are pre-cooked, so the final cooking is more of a heat-through: moussaka, lasagne, sausage casserole; stews are a good idea too as they actually improve a day or two after cooking.
