Any ideas for sandwich fillings for 21mo?

DD's nursery doesn't provide lunch - the easiest packed lunch would be a sarnie but she's not massively keen on them. She's a very good eater on the whole.

I've only ever done cheese sandwiches, so perhaps she's just not into those.

Any quick, healthy sandwich filling favourites anyone can recommend?

Cheers

Houmous
Tuna mayo
Egg mayo
Rolled wraps with soft cheese
Marmite

Maybe try something other than bread. My DC like:

Bagels
Wraps
English muffins
Rolls
Pitta

Cream cheese is a good one to start with, as is Marmite. Anything spreadable that they can't fish out and play with is good in my book....

What else are you putting in? Sometimes if you put too much other stuff in they don't eat the main event. I'd just put fruit/raw veg in to start.

@JaynieB - thanks! Was going to try egg mayo this morning as she wolfed down a hard boiled egg the other day. Then realised we didn't have any bread, so she got cold fish fingers and a cold corn on the cob... a guaranteed eaten lunch, but not a new challenge!

@taffetacat - good idea. Might get some little rolls.

Cheers

Half the battle is getting them to take that first bite so try cutting the sandwiches u in different ways to see which tempts her the most.

My dd has had elft over roast chicken in her today with sliced up salad on the side. Yesterday was dairylea and tomorrow is corned beef.

My dd loves quiche so you could try that instead of sandwiches.

Could you use tortillas instead of bread? My dds bothlove those. Dd1's fave is crab sticks with philly and cherry toms.
