Steak pie recipes please!

I have decided to make a steak pie for the Little Emperor. I cannot for the life of me remember how my mum used to make them and I haven't made one for years (so much for Home Economics!)

What are your favourite recipes (and can they be frozen once cooked?)

There's a good one in Jamie Oliver's 'At Home with Jamie' book for steak, guiness and cheese pie. Would that be any good or is the Guiness a no no?
