Got a friend coming over in an hour and would like to make a chicken curry with some chicken I have in the freezer.
I am a vegi so not sure how to quickly defrost the chicken breast, any ideas?

Thanks all. That was great. I cut up the frozed breast into strips put in the bowl of water and within 15 mins it had fully defrosted. My curry is now bubbling away on the stove, and I have a glass of wine in hand. No mushrooms or takeaway menus needed. Thankyou. I LOVE MUMNET !

yes, warmish water is fine as long as you're cooking with it straightaway. nothing to risk.
