What can I use these for?

I have some blackcurrants in Navy rum..before they make it to the next fete or whatever, is there anything I could use them for?

God I love blackcurrants. We grow them and freeze them but have run out.

I'd say:

Eat as is with a really good vanilla ice cream

Make a boozy summer pudding, buy some frozen raspberries to add to as well

winter berry trifle just adapt the ingreds a bit - leave out the cassis. I made this the other week - its yum

Like Taffetacat, We eats tons of blackcurrants that we grow and freeze.

Have never had them with rum though? Often I simmer gently then sieve then sweeten and serve with greek yog.

Thanks for the ideas. My sister was given a jar of them for Christmas, (which she gave to me!) I love blackcurrants too but the rum is putting me off somewhat.
