Yes - a ready made packet made by William Rodgers foods. Just add water - yummy. Available in Morrisons (that's where I get mine from anyway). Also do a great Bombay beans one too.

I do super quick dahl thus:
put 1 sliced onion in pan add, couple handful of red lentils and couple of tablespoons of curry paste + water, boil for 20 mins.
add some grated ginger near end of cooking
