My first ever sour dough bread is about to come out of the oven but I am not sure what to eat it with. What are your favourite ways of eating it?

toasted
with tomatoes sort of bruschetta-like
with marmite or marmalade

not toasted
butter and ham
butter and cheese

anything really. i am not keen on it really hot. also sometimes you get crust making crackling noises while it cools down which is fab.

oh if forgot, grilled with tinned sardines in tomato sauce and tabasco on.

toasted and spread with butter (real butter) a good chutney and some mature cheddar.

Or toasted with butter and marmite.

lovely with soup! Served it the other day with smoked garlic and jerusalem artichoke soup, was delicious.
