What are your favorite rabbit recipes?
I have been doing the jamie Oliver ragu with olives, its delish but would like to try something else.

I do like the way your thread is next to all the vegan ones!

Well the rabbit was vegan!

I have not cooked it often - usually as a stew with wine and mushrooms. Will wait and watch what replies you get.

I usually cook mine in a gravy but you've reminded me of Dh asking when we were newlyweds if I'd make him rabbit for tea.

I didn't have a clue how to cook rabbit so sent him to ask his mum.

The note he came back with read

"get the rabbit and cut its arms and legs off"

We had pork chops for tea that night

What about curried rabbit? I bet butter chicken recipe would work well.

So marinaded in mustard and roasted on a bed of carrot,celery and onion. Then made a sauce with white wine, cream and tarragon.

Nev er knew rabbit would taste so good, like chicken but better.
