Which celebrity brands have impressed you? Or not!

Just wondered which have lived up to expectations (assuming they were high!)

For example, last week I tried our bum-chinned friend Gordon Ramsey's Spicy Red Pepper & Spianata Sausage (for Comic Relief). I found it rather average.

However, then I was surprised to try Jamie Oliver's new pasta (just launched in Tesco) - I bought the fusili which promised to be "springy", and it's really good. Didn't try the sauces as I've heard they contain excessive amounts of salt.

Prince Charles' range Duchy Originals has some lovely tasting stuff, but again, is a bit liberal with the salt/sugar.

Any other thoughts?

I bloody love Lloyd Grossman sauces, though they are a bit salt-tastic.

Ha ha at Billy bear.

Celeb brands put me off tbh.

I had the most delicious ready-made soup in a tub the other day which claimed to have some connection with Marco Pierre White.

LLoyd for me too

Good grief I just googled Billy Bear - vile!

"Celeb brands put me off tbh" Me too! hence why I squirrelled Jamie's pasta in to my trolley when no-one was looking! It did surprise me how good it was.

Bed now...
