I've never seen it, or heard of it actually.

Is it oil extracted from mustard or mustard steeped in another oil, iyswim?

What's it for?

It is mainly used for hair treatments by Asians, but also used in cooking. I have some - gotten from an asian shop.

There used to be problems licensing it to sell as a foodstuff here - not sure if that's still relevant.

I have seen it in my local Asda - think if you live in a multicultural area you should be able to pick it up easily.

TO be honest buy mine from a local indian grocer.

If you are using it in a recipe be sparing with it as it is very pungent, so add it in small batchs ratehr than a great big glug, if you don;t like the taste it is very pervasive.
