13MO DD in restaurant?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if you could help? We are going to an italian restaurant next week for lunch, as it is my birthday. DD is 13MO and obviously can sit in high chair/feed herself...they have a kiddies menu and do little pizzas. All freshly made on the premises, we go there as I am coeliac and they specialise in gluten free dishes. I am just wondering if it is ok to give her the kiddy pizza as a one off, she loves my homemade pizzas? They are proper mozerella, basil, sauce...it's a proper italian not just a pizza hut.
Just checking as I am a bit obsessive about salt content in food (first time mum and big worrier!) But I'm thinking this one time is not going to do her any harm?

Thanks, sorry if I am being a little irrational!

Yes, why on earth not? Bread, cheese, tomatos.

What specifically are you worried about, is it the salt content?

GhoulsAreLoud · 11/02/2010 19:17

Doh! Sorry, just seen about the salt content. Yes, if it's not all the time it should be fine, if you want to be extra careful just keep her salt content lower for a few days after.

It's not going to do her any harm.

Although I probably wouldn't buy her a whole kids pizza myself, they are probably aimed at children up to age 12. Just give her a slice of yours.
