what do you add to curry paste to make it into sauce?

You can add a tin of tomatoes, or some coconut milk, or just stock (but it will be thinner if just stock, obv).

Roasted veg couscous with fish?

Or roast the veg and add it to the tin of soup for a healthy makeshift veg stew.

Sympathy by the way, I have to make what's in the cupboards last til tuesday, and I've got a tenner to buy emergency bits like bread and milk, but nothing in the cupboard match (plain pasta, no sauce. sausages etc with no gravy). It's going to be sooo much fun deciding what to scratch together every night

its harsh james, i don't mind meal planning to make things go as far as poss but i hate being skint to the point of random food selection! am now home from work so off to look for more inspiration in the cupboard in case i've missed a full roast dinner hiding somewhere....

Aaw bless you. For times like that it's good to keep a few emergency rations in the back of the cupboard. I've done us a big pan of porridge with dried fruit for dinner before now when we've not had anything in! Won't hurt as a one off.

I have no idea what I'm making tonight, I have things like rice and curry sauce but nothing to put in a curry sauce etc. Bugger it, we might even have pancake day early!

Hope you find something you can make. x
