chocolate, coke and coconut milk cake?

This was a recipe in the Saturday Times about two weeks ago, when they did an article on the Cake Committee in London.
Has anyone made this cake? Is it nice? How sweet/ sickly is it?
I know it sounds a bit odd... but need to make a birthday cake next week and this may do the trick if anyone can recommend it please.

not done that one, but often done nigellas choc and coke cake and it's delicious. And thinking about adding lemonade to vanillary cakes too.

The coconut sounds a bit off IMO, but I'm not a big coconut fan at the best of times, unless its just the raw stuff.
