wine/beer/cider for cooking rabbit

Any suggestions?

I've got a couple of rabbits in the pot cooking in game stock, I think it neesds some alcohol as well though. White wine? Red? Marsala? Cider (only have Magners and Strongbow)? Belgian ale? Brandy?

Sounds gorgeous. Depends what flavour you want. Sweeter I'd go Marsala, punchier maybe Vermouth? Are you using any herbs?

I put some Duvel (blonde ale) in the end along with thyme and bay leaves. Not sweet enough so I added a couple of tbsp of redcurrant jelly at the end.
