how do i store b'day cake i have made

just nade my dd 2nd birthday cake. it is a peppa pig cut out of madera with buttercream and fondant icing. how do i store it. have covered it but should i keep inthe fridge. party not till tommorow

Please do not put it in a tuppaware box with a lid - it will sweat.

No need to keep it in the fridge - just put it on the side out of the way with a teatowel draped over the top.

i havent got my camera with me. fil has taken it to print some photos. will post one when i get it back today. have never made a cake before and i think its a masterpiece

With all the cakes I have done (and there are a few), I have just left them on the side even when they have been cut into with just a tea towel over. Madeira cakes will be ok for about a week.
