Can you recommend a slow cooker please?

Want to buy one but have no idea if any brands are particulary good, or what features I should be looking for.

i have a swan which is 22 years old. it does the job for me. its 3.5 litres which i find about right for 5. you need a removable pot, high/low/auto setting. Personally i wouldn't go for anything more complex or expensive as waste of money

Ok, thanks. Cooking for a family of four so I agree, 3.5 litres is probably fine. Thanks for the other info!

I have a Morphy Richards 6.5l one. It has 3 settings and the pot can be washed in a dishwasher.

I do some batch cooking once a month and we have friends around for the weekend sometimes which is why we got that size.

3.5l is usually big enough for a family of 4/5.

I'd go with the asda 3.5l one.

I've had a few and this one has been the easiest to clean by far, no soaking at all.

Was about £10
