Italian style sponge liqueur cake type thing. Anyone?

Hello

It's my mum's 60th birthday party on Sunday. For her 40th and 50th (in Italy) she had some sort of liqueur soaked cake with fresh cream and possibly fruit.

Anyone got a recipe of that kind? It needs to be served as a cake, rather than a Tiramisu type thing in a dish.

I've been looking on the interweb, but can't really find what I'm looking for.

Huzzah! That looks like the sort of thing. I even have the "free" Christmas pannetone from my local Italian in the cupboard. Thanks very much.
