Wheat free biscuits

Does anyone have a recipe for some that aren't like cardboard!i am asking for a friend TIA x

I have made these Oaty Cookies using gluten free flour and they were ok - bit drier than normal but ok. Maybe you could add a bit more syrup to the mixture?
