apples for juicing

my DS has shown a great interest in the juicer and helped make and drink some apple juice today.
does anyone have an opinion as to which variety of apples are best for juicing??

Pershore Horticultural College juice apples semi-commercially and I have certainly drunk their Cox juice, also Bramley & Cox (which has a more appley taste).
