Can you freeze hummus?

If so, any tips?

DS (23 months) eats a ton, so was hoping to save money by making my own in large batches...

No. Something to do with the oil. Although you can freeze the other ingredients and add oil when defrosted.

I saw something in the Guardian the other week - I'll look it up for you

Was further back than I thought and hummus is a tricky one for homogenous spelling...

I make this hummus recipe for DS and having no oil I guess it would freeze ok. Think I'll give it a try actually!

2 tsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp ground cumin
130g (3/4 cup) drained canned chickpeas
60ml (1/4 cup) milk
1 tsp tahini
2 tsp finely chopped fresh corriander (I never have it so have never tried it with!)
