Can't find it online but basically you make a bolognaise type meat sauce, then layer in a lasagne dish with (no pre-cook) lasagne sheets. Just spread creme fraiche (dont use the half fat stuff - it splits) on the pasta layers with some salt, pepper and grated parmesan (or mozzarella). Do two or three layers then finish with creme fraiche and lots of mozzarella, some tomato slices and basil leaves.

Bake for 30 to 40 mins - Yummy

is this the one you mean?.

Not tried it myself but look good.

I use campbells condensed mushroom soup in between my layers - honestly, tis lovely.

1lb / 500gms Minced Beef or Lamb
3 Onions finely diced
2 Cloves of Garlic finely diced
2 tins of chopped tomatoes
Tomato Puree
Lasagne Sheets
Oregano
Oil or Butter
5ozs / 150 gms Parmesan Finely Grated
Salt & Pepper
Carton of Ready Made Béchamel Sauce
or Napoli Three cheese Sauce
1-2 tablespoons Flour

Heat the oil/butter gently and add the onion and garlic, simmer and stir until glistening ~10 minutes.

Add minced beef/lamb and turn the heat up a little and stir to break up any lumps, cook for ~15 minutes, sprinkle on the flour and stir to absorb oil/fat, stir for 2 minutes.

Stir in the chopped tomatoes and tomato puree, oregano, salt and pepper and cook on a low heat for 45-60 minutes until thickened.

In the oven dish add 1-2 spoonfuls of the mixture, just enough to cover the bottom of the dish, then spoon over some white/cheese and then a sprinkling of the cheese and then a layer of lasagne sheets continue to do this until the tomato mixture is finished, add a thicker layer of sauce than before and a heavy sprinkling of cheese and bake in a pre heated oven.

Place in a 160°C, 320°F, Gas Mark 3/4 for 30-40 minutes until golden and bubbling.

Remove from the oven and allow to sit for 5 minutes.

Slide a spatula down between the sides of the dish and the Lasagne and then cut into portions and serve with garlic bread, salad or vegetables.
