Hi,
I saw this in boots on saturday and though it seemed nice. Its beatrix potter baby pasta(little shapes) and a jar of organic pasta sauce only containing vegtables.
Good for quick meals

Oh god, don't mention baby pasta on here...

Flum · 04/07/2005 22:27

Sounds marvellous

Do you know any other recipes using the baby pasta?

moondog · 04/07/2005 22:27

What's the matter with non Beatrix Potter shaped pasta at a third of the price?????

moondog · 04/07/2005 22:28

Is it shaped like a sweet plump little spinster?

nannyjo · 04/07/2005 22:28

me and my mate were talking about this just today. Baby pasta is cool, i knoe it's just small stuff but fussili is horiid when whizzed, gos all gloopy.

The sauce is lovely and really easy to use in a hurry.

nannyjo · 04/07/2005 22:29

MD, i don't think you can get baby pasta any where else.

moondog · 04/07/2005 22:31

Blimey nannyjo. You and your mate live fast and loose eh??

emkana · 04/07/2005 22:32

moondog, pmsl

nannyjo · 04/07/2005 22:33

don't tell me you never talk about baby stuff food etc??Why would you be on this site and why would you look on this thread???

moondog · 04/07/2005 22:48

Aaaah, I'm only having a laugh with you nannyjo. No dig intended.

Gosh yes, I can bore for Britain on riveting issues such as highchairs, best shampoos, washable nappies and sippy cups.

Don't get me started,lady!

nannyjo · 04/07/2005 22:51

fishfinger · 04/07/2005 22:52

snort

moondog · 04/07/2005 22:55

At you both

How the fck do they make pasta in these shapes? Sometimes on a rare supermarket foray I stumble slack jawed down the pasta aisle (on my way to avail myself of Barilla's finest, natch)utterly bewildered by what's on offer-Bartney,Barbie,SpongeBob Wotsit,Lion King,Troll,
My Little Pony,Baby bloody Annabelle shaped pasta.

(OK, I made maybe one of those up.)

Who in bollocksing buggery buys it?

Apart from nannyjo.

moondog · 04/07/2005 22:56

Bartney is of course a Britney/Barbie hybrid pasta, recently added to the extensive Heinz range......

nannyjo · 04/07/2005 22:58

i only buy tiny pasta for obvious reasons not civing a s**t what shape it is.

moondog · 04/07/2005 23:03

Eh eh eh!! Calm down, calm down!

The 'baby' in that case refers to the pasta not the person/s designated to consume it.

Splendid product. 'Grown up' pasta makes a hell of a mess in the fists of a 1 year old.

Flum · 04/07/2005 23:36

Have you seen Porn Pasta. They sell it at that new shop on Oxford St, is it Horizons, the one near Tottenham court road. Its brill!

You really gotta wonder how they get it to do those shapes!

moondog · 05/07/2005 10:15

Flum! Can you send me a packet?

Flum · 07/07/2005 21:32

Nah love, the postage would be too much to Turkey. And what if the kids get hold of it. Strictly adults only ( there are willies, boobies and what are sposed to be action shots but you really can't tell what is sposed to be going on)

but if you really want some.........

Surfermum · 07/07/2005 21:41

PMSL at a) Troll pasta shapes and b) Moondog serving up Porn pasta.

kbaby · 10/07/2005 21:58

Got some baby pasta from 'the food company' in marks tey. letter, so cute and dd loves it x

wavingordrowning · 11/07/2005 19:18

Beatrix Potter rice pasta good too...bit twitchy about too much wheat as DS has (very, very mild) eczema and sensitive skin so find rice pasta a nice change every so often. Sauce is better if you add a dollop of mascapone or cream cheese otherwise (I'm told by DD) that it is too much like tomato puree.
