Hi,
DD 13 months likes the mums own curry jars but I would like to make my own. Does anyone know of a good recipe

I tend to just make a normal curry and add extra yogurt to cool it down a little for the babes. Curry powder, tomatoes, onions, potatoes etc and whatever meat/veg. Cook it up in a tiny bit of water. When almost cooked I add yogurt to taste. I'd take out what I want for the rest of us and add extra yogurt for the babes. Of course they quite like a bit of spice themselves. hth I don't do many actual recipes

I have a chickpea one that DS2 loves

Chickpea Curry

1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 garlic clove,crushed
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp paprika
1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato puree
2 x 400g can chickpeas
450ml vegetable stock (made with stock cube)

Fry onion in oil until soft. Add garlic and spices and cook for 4-5 mins over medium heat.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil, then cover and simmer for 1hr.

That makes quite a lot but I whizz it up and put it in the freezer in portions. I used to serve it with baby rice mixed in but now do mashed spud or couscous (DS2 now 22m)
