Ice Lolly making sets

You know the ones that are plastic and you make yourself by pouring juice in and putting the lid on that has a stick and then freezing so you make your own lollies?

I can't find these anywhere! I have looked in the usual suspects, Wilkinsons, Woolies, Betterware and to no avail.

Can anyone help with a supplier?

TIA

Bought some recently in Ikea - I think they were about 75p or 90p for a set which makes 4. If you're not near an Ikea, I think Lakeland do them too.

Lakeland do them mail order. I just ordered some! They are on the net or you can get a phone number from directory inquiries - I would give number but am not at home right now.

They do them at www.gltc.co.uk . They're called Lickety-sips and cost £5.99. However I can thoroughly recommend the Lakeland traditional lolly kit with wooden sticks as you can make loads in one go.

We have just bought a set from Whittards for £4 (makes 4 ice lollies), they are not supposed to drip and have a spout bit for drinking the drips IYKWIM. Haven't tried them yet but do have some in the freezer just now to sample later.

My sister bought some as you describe at Poundstretcher (yellow and red pound sign logo shop I think)last weekend for only 99p! Try there, they looked really good and had separate lids with sipping straws at the side for drips IYKWIM

Other ice lolly ideas, stick lolly stick in half a banana, or stick lolly stick into little fromage frais (particularly useful if stuff is about to go past best). Have a good look in Tesco etc they often get in looy packs at this time of year.

Betterware sell them.

Claireandrich · 11/06/2003 21:44

Another message to say that I saw them in Ikea, and Betterware which has a website where you can order on line. I got a free set with some Sunny Delight a year or so ago, so look out for freebies at this time of year too.

Just read you dsay betterware doesn't have them - they used to for definite. Have you checked their website?

I just got one from tesco for 99p

Lennie · 12/06/2003 16:51

or Asda - set of 8 for 97p

Tortington · 12/06/2003 23:38

got mine from wilkinsons but was near the gardening stuff with plastic plates and other picnic stuff - that was 2 weeks ago and they have a spout that acts as a straw when the lolly melts!
