How can I use up a jar of mincemeat without making mince pies please?

Was given a jar of homemade mincemeat for Christmas. Any ideas what I can do with it, that doesn't involve making pastry?

I know this thread is 5 years old, but a few ideas for anyone who happens by. =)

Replace jam in thumbprint cookies with mincemeat
Use in a fruitcake instead of all the fruit and spices
Wrap in filo dough and bake as a strudel (or replace fuits in your favorite strudel recipe)
Add to stuffing for holidays

Mincemeat ice cream

Add to a standard all in one sponge mix and bake into little fairy/cup cakes.
They go down so well I now make these 1st at Xmas, pies second!
