cheese pie! I'd forgotten all about it...

Ours didn't have potato in it, but was more like a thick (but floppy) quiche with a lot more cheese than you'd put in an ordinary quiche.

Ooh I love this and have recipe for cheese pie. Good 30s recipe. Have posted it in a thread before and no one, sniff, seemed interested.

So here it is, and, AND i stress I make it too. It's from my granny. No potatoes, that's why you serve it with pots.

3 oz of BREADCRUMBS
4 ox grated cheese (cheddar)
2 Eggs
1 pt of milk
salt and pepper

Mix dry ingredients together. In bowl Beat eggs and add in the milk milk. Mik dry and wet ingredients together, add salt and pepper. Pour into pie dish. Cook in low to medium oven, I do at 180 in one of those ovens that doesn't go above 220. It needs to to set like a ric epudding. Essentially put in skewer and wait till it comes out relatively clean.

Any good?
