How do I make a pie?

I've got left over turkey and ham in the freezer and some puff pastry. I've got a packet of some kind of white sauce in the cupboard.

Can someone tell me how I make this all into a lovely turkey and ham pie?

Do I have to defrost the meat and pastry first etc?

yes I know - I'm useless

Defrost the turkey and pastry first I would have thought!

Then, put carrot, leek, potato, red onion and 2 garlic cloves with the turkey (chunks) in a dish with 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of flour.

Roast for about 30 mins.

Add some frozen peas and 150ml of crem fraiche and 150ml of chicken stock

Roll out pastry on top and bake for 25 mins!

Sounds yum, can I come and have some too?

Don't forget to make some slits or holes in the pastry, and to glaze it with beaten egg (or milk if you've no eggs)

If you want to use your white sauce, just make that up, put in your defrosted meat and some sort of veg (leeks would go well if you have it) and check for seasoning before putting the crust on.
