If so, have you made the haddock in cream sauce? Every time I make it the sauce separates - it tastes ok but looks a bit yukky. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Has anybody made this dish successfully?

TIA

The recipe says mixture of single cream and half at creme fraiche - which is what I used.

Can I ask what else you have cooked from the book that you would recommend.

Hello, I haven't made the haddock in cream sauce so can't help there, but, have made the chicken with thyme rice, chicken with ginger and orange, chicken tandoori, and some others - when we got it I decided to spend two weeks cooking only from that cookebook, to help me to make the most of it. All recipes so far have been really nice and very straighforward.

I think the curdling happened to me to. I have done the chicken and ham pie with success, also the chicken/lemon/broad bean/rice one pot thingy (sorry don't have book in front of me for its official name). Have done a few others but these 2 have been the best and most repeated so far.

agree with wakeup's suggestions, haven't made the haddock thingy sorry, and also suggest the bolognaise in the oven thing, it's quite nice too..
most things i've made from it have been delish and DD has lapped it up...
