birthday cake

Anyone got any ideas for a simple birthday cake for a 7 year old girl?
Nothing too elaborate as it's only for the family.
Not chocolate as my grandma can't eat it, and prob not too pink as the boys will turn up their noses, lol.

this may be too simple but ive had success with an iced cake, chocolate biscuit numbers (think done by cadburys like animal biscuits)and chocolate fingers for hands on the clock, moved ceremoniously from 6 oclock to 7 oclock just before the candles are lit!
