I made some of these with dd but we've now lost the recipe. Can anyone help? I need to use up the tin of custard powder!

like this?

BlueKangerooWonders · 08/01/2010 11:07

sounds quite different from the one we used - there was half a tin in the old recipe! But will give it a go, many thanks.

depends on how many you are making I guess...

how about custard biscuits

6 oz each of butter and flour
4 oz caster sugar
2 oz custard powder
pinch salt

cream butter and sugar, add flour and custard. Make into small balls, flatten slightly.

"cook it over 350 degree until golden brown" sandwich together with butter icing (or not)

Can't vouch for them as have never made them, got the recipe from a book called "The Birsay S.W.R.I Recipe Book" which my mother handed down to me this christmas
