Top chunky veg soup recipe?

I absolutely love LemonMagnolia's veg & bean soup, but need some variety! Best recipes please!

No pasta/bread/rice/cheese please

suggest doing a search on MN as i got several good veg soup recipes recently this way, i think. my kids have been coming home from school and eating it as a pre dinner snack and making me feel like a good mum

Have you tried bbc good food website and ukfood. I use both sites for ideas.

Thanks dreaming and lizzie. Yep tried all those (found LemonMagnolia's on MN), and my recipe books - just wondered if anyone had a favourite to recommend.

currenlty 2 ons, 1 carrot, 1/2 turnip, 1 leek, 1.5 pints stock, 1 oz butt, 1tbsp tom puree, 2 tbs parsley. melt butt and cook ons for 5 mins. add everything else - which should have been cut up into little pieces - and cook for 35 mins. i blend, though guess if you wanted chunky you wouldn't or could blend part. i'd make it now but i can't get carrots anywhere

French onion everytime! Nice recipe here- www.eatthechef.com/recipe.aspx?id=36 but omit the gruyere and bread croutons if you're on a health kick.
